To all the members of Sam's family please accept my condolences on his passing. I had the pleasure of working with Sam in Base Supply at the 177th. He was a true professional in his work but most of all he had a great personality. He was well liked by anyone who met him and was always ready to help others. Sam was truly "One of the good guys".

My deepest condolences to the Mascola family. I knew Sam from working at the 177th Fighter Wing. I just seen Sam at the retirement breakfast that we had back in April. I'm very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. Having grown up next door to the Mascola family, I remember Sam, his sister Marion and his parents very well. His dad used to play catch with me when I was very small and I never forgot that. My God bless his wife and family in their time of need but I hope they know how truly special the Mascola family was. It was a privilege knowing them.
