Mike saved my life in high school. We were walking across the parking lot as school was letting out, on our way to cross country practice. I was not paying attention as we came to the curb, Myrtle St. I seem to remember. Mike reached out his hand and stopped me from taking the next step off the curb. I felt the strong breeze and saw nothing but yellow as the side mirror of the school bus brushed along the front of me at 25 or 30 mph. One step and I was toast in front of that school bus pulling in. I'll never forget you, Mike. and I love you all for many other moments, most less life saving than that moment, but Michelle and I love and miss you all. Our deepest condolences.
