Michael C. Nealis passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Vineland, NJ and graduated from Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1974. He retired as a well-respected union electrician for the IBEW 351 for 35 years and was a member of the NIBA and the First United Methodist Church. Michael was an avid Phillies fan and golfer and his life centered on family, faith and friends. He will be remembered as a true friend, caring and compassionate and a mentor with a great sense of humor. He is predeceased by his father, Charles J. Nealis and brother-in-law, Stephen Quinn. He was a devoted husband to Lynn (nee Simon); father to Michael and wife Jessie and Tyler; grandfather to Ollie and Gus; his mother, Marilyn (nee Holden); sisters, Linda Quinn, Patricia and husband Anthony Pustizzi; brothers; Dave and wife Barbara, Charles and wife Diane and Robert and wife Nancy; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 700 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360.
