In the face of grief, modest smiles may kindle remembering Dr. Robert's contagious spirit. His indomitable courage ignited a passion that cast a spirited intelligence amongst us all. Forever imprinted is his warmth and humour, an interesting blend underpinned by adventure. A prominent man carved from love and laughter, he gifted us with unwavering friendship and enduring compassion, which live on beyond him. Ah! The joyous echo of his unforgettable kindness vastly enriches our hearts even in absence.

Dr. Robert was truly one of a kind - his heart was perpetually on overflow, his bravery could outshine any knight's, and when it came to passion? Let's just say he wouldn't understand the concept of half-heartedness. Here's to a man who probably taught Greatness a thing or two!

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Dr. Ashton's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really help me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but not because it simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor 4:7 says God can give us, "power beyond what is normal," to go from day to day. This doesn't mean that we no longer cry or we forget what it means to recover. We recover because of Jesus words at John 5:28. It is my wish that you find comfort in these words. Take care.

I wish my heartfelt condolences to you and your family and your loved ones. The death of Robert is one that I'm sure is extremely depressing for family members. I pray for his soul. God works in strange ways but he always has a plan. May you find solace from loving memories of3
his life that was lost too soon.

Lillian, not sure if you remember me but we passed many times in the medical field and of course the first time was in a doctor's office when our children were small.
I know how proud you was of you son who has accomplished so much and gone so suddenly. We never think this will happen to us. Grief is never ending but memories are precious and help us each day. Our precious daughter was killed 3 years ago in an auto accident and it does not seem real today. Hang tight to your memories and I pray God will help you to heal.

Lillian and Bob,
Scott and I were so sad to see your son's obituary. I know how proud you were of him. You may remember that we lost Jeff Stern in our practice at the age of 40. It is so hard to see someone with great talent and so young pass. Your son will be a loss to many.
