I met Suzanne through Rutgers Master Gardners Program. Suzane was in charge of Therapeutic Horticulture Program at the VA Home in Vineland. She was an extremely dedicated, independent, giving (money and time) and organized person. She took responsibility of purchasing supplies and preparing activities. We did shopping together and it was fun. I have to talk about her independence. On one heavy snowy day, Suzanne drove to VA Home by herself. We offered her a ride but she insisted she'll be all right. She was a very proud of her independence. I will always remember her as a kind, strong, and a person with dignity.
